Starfish has more than 15 Nursing graduates now, with several more in college at Ronald Ross teaching hospital

Meet Ruth Goma, an orphan, now graduated and working as a State Registered Nurse in Zambia.

And this is Taona, daughter of a local church pastor whose salary did not stretch to college fees for his very bright daughter. Now working as an SRN

Mwenya, above, is from a very poor family and completed her schooling  with very good results. She was then stuck for 2 years until Starfish came along, and she has now  completed her 3 year Nursing degree at a cost of £2,000. In country co-ordinator Margie says:

“Mwenya came to see me to appreciate for the sponsorship given to her. She says she is so grateful to for the help rendered to her for had it not been for Starfish she does not know what would have become of her.

She says pass my gratitude to all Starfish Personnel and that God may continue blessing you for the work you are doing here in Zambia.

Margie”
